Ultra-Trail Australia 100 (UTA100)
100 km and nearly 4,500 m of climbing through the Blue Mountains — one of the toughest trail ultras in the country.
The Ultra-Trail Australia 100 (UTA100) is the country's most iconic 100 km trail race, run through the Blue Mountains around Katoomba each May. It packs in close to 4,500 metres of climbing — the descent to Tarros Ladders, the long grind through Kedumba Valley, and the brutal finish up the 951 steps of Furber Stairs to Scenic World.
It's a course measured in vertical metres as much as horizontal ones — the kind of day that lives in your legs for a week and your memory for years.
A Route Remnant captures the whole loop in 3D: every switchback, ridge and valley of the course you spent all day on. Add your time and finish on the back and it becomes the record a finisher medal never quite is.
