The Melbourne Marathon Festival is Victoria's biggest, and its signature is the finish: a lap onto the hallowed turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The course runs out along the bay through Albert Park, St Kilda and Port Melbourne before turning back toward the city and that final stadium straight.
